Racing Payouts & Maximum Bet Amounts Top

There are no house odds. If there are no track payoffs for a certain type of wager, all wagers on that type will be refunded. There is a maximum net profit on each individual race based on the track category. Daily Doubles, Pick 3's, and Pick 4's count towards the last race in its sequence when calculating the race profit. The formula is Net Profit = Net Payout For Race minus Total Amount Wagered For Race. This resets for every individual race.If a track is on our betting menu, but not listed on the Horse Track Categories, the Maximum Net Profit defaults to $3,000.

Betting a Horse to Win
When you bet on a horse to Win, you are betting on one horse to cross the finish line in first place. If your selection wins, you will receive the payoff amount opposite the word Win, as shown on the racetrack board. The amount won will depend on the odds shown on the board, following the race.

Betting a Horse to Place
When you bet on a horse to Place, you are betting on one horse to cross the finish line in either first place or second place. If your selection wins, you will receive the payoff amount opposite the word Place, as shown on the racetrack board. The amount won will depend on the odds shown on the board, following the race.

Betting a Horse to Show
When you bet on a horse to Show, you are betting on one horse to cross the finish line in either first place, second place, or third place. If your selection wins, you will receive the payoff amount opposite the word, Show, as shown on the racetrack board. The amount won will depend on the odds shown on the board, following the race.

Across the Board Top

When you are choosing a horse wagering across the board, you are making three separate bets that it will Win, Place or Show. You may make your wager on a single ticket, or on three separate tickets.If you decide to wager on the single ticket, however, you are, in effect, making three separate bets at the same time, so the total amount of your horse wagering will be three times a single such wager.If your selection wins, you will receive the payoff amount opposite the words, Win-Place-Show, as shown on the racetrack board. The amount won will depend on the odds shown on the board, following the race.

Exacta/Perfecta Top

Betting – Exacta or Perfecta
When you bet on the Exacta or Perfecta, you are betting on two specific horses to cross the finish line in first and second place, and in the order you specified when you laid your bet. If your selection wins, you will receive the payoff amount opposite the word Exacta or Perfecta, as shown on the racetrack board.

Betting – Exacta or Perfecta Box
When you bet on the Exacta, or Perfecta Box, you are betting on two horses to cross the finish line in first and second place, in any order. In effect, you must make multiple individual Exacta or Perfecta bets in combination to set this bet up.Exacta or Perfecta Box can be done on a single ticket. This amounts to making two or more separate Exacta, or Perfecta Box bets. In this particular case, you would calculate the total amount that you are wagering by multiplying the number of individual bets by the individual wager amount.If your selections win, you will receive the payoff amount opposite the words, Exacta, or Perfecta Box, as shown on the racetrack board.You also may limit the combinations by keying (linking) a single horse to a particular finish position i.e., to Win or Place. This means that the horse you have keyed to a specific position must finish in that position. The other selected horses, which are not keyed in any way, would be boxed into the remaining non-keyed positions.For example, let us say you select horses 3, 6, and 9, and decide to key horse number 9 to Place in the wager setup screen. Your resulting wager would be an Exacta or Perfecta Box with one key. You will win this single Exacta or Perfecta Box wager only if the number 9 horse crosses the finish line in the Place position and the number 3 or 6 horse crosses the finish line in first place. You may also make a Wheel wager by selecting all horses in a particular race, keying one of them to Win or Place. You will win this single Exacta or Perfecta Box wager only if the horse you keyed finishes in either of the specified positions, i.e., a Win or Place.

Quinella Top

When you bet on the Quinella, or Quinella Box, you are betting on two specific horses to cross the finish line in first and second place, in any order. These are similar types of wagers to the Exacta or Perfecta Box type wagers. One of the main differences is that various racetracks which offer Quinella or Quinella Box wagers, will pool the action separately from their Exacta, or Perfecta Box pool.Also, the Quinella wager is a single wager. In effect, the amount you wager is the total amount of the wager. You may choose three or more horses in a Quinella Box to increase your chances of picking two horses to finish first and second. If your selections win, you will receive the payoff amount opposite the words Quinella, or Quinella Box, as shown on the racetrack board.

Daily Double Top

When you bet on the Daily Double, you are betting on two specific horses in two separate and specific races to win the two separate and specific races. At most of the racetracks, the Daily Double will be the first and second race or the last two races.Some racetracks may offer Rolling Daily Doubles, which means you will be able to wager on your picks (winners) in every two races. If your selections win, you will receive the payoff amount opposite the word, Daily Double, as shown on the racetrack board.

Trifecta Triple Top

Betting – Trifecta and Triple
When you bet on the Trifecta or Triple, you are betting on three specific horses to cross the finish line in the first, second and third positions, and in the exact order you specified when you laid your bet. If there are fewer than seven horses in a field (contesting the race), the Trifecta or Triple wager will not be offered by the racetrack, and no bets will be accepted.In the event that a scheduled horse is scratched (eliminated) from a six or five horse field (depends on the track) before post-time (the start of the race), all Trifecta or Triple wagers made will be deemed to be no action (invalid).If your selections win, you will receive the payoff amount opposite the word, Trifecta or Triple, as shown on the racetrack board.

Betting – Trifecta Box
When you bet on the Trifecta Box, you are betting on three or more specific horses to cross the finish line in the first, second and third positions, in any order. If there are fewer than seven horses in a field (contesting the race), the Trifecta Box wager will not be offered by the racetrack, and no bets will be accepted.In the event that a scheduled horse is scratched (eliminated) from a six or five horse field (depends on the track) before post-time (the start of the race), all Trifecta Box wagers made will be deemed to be no action (invalid).You will have to make several individual Trifecta bets, in various combinations, so that your picks can, in fact, finish in any order.If you want to end up with all of your bets on a single ticket, you will have to make multiple individual Trifecta bets. You will be able to calculate the total cost of your wager by multiplying the number of wagers made times the amount of each individual wager. You also may limit the combinations by keying (linking) a single horse to a particular finish position i.e., to Win, Place or Show. This means that the horse you have keyed to a specific position must finish in that position. The other selected horses, which are not keyed in any way, would be boxed into the remaining non-keyed positions.For example, let us say you select horses 3, 6, 7 and 9, and decide to key horse number 7 to Place and number 9 to Win in the wager setup screen. You will win this Trifecta Box wager only if the number 9 horse crosses the finish line in first position, a Win, the number 7 horse in Place position and either of the number 3 or 6 horses crosses in the Show position.You may also make a type of Wheel wager by selecting all horses in a particular race, then keying one or more of them to finish in a specific position (s). You will win this single wheel wager only if the horse (s) you key finish in either of the specified positions, i.e., win, place or show.

Parlay Top

This is a combination or multiple wagers on two or three scheduled horse race events, with the intention of using a total of any winnings and the original sum bet on the first event as a wager on the second event, and so on. When the player transfers his winnings in this manner, instead of collecting them, he is said to be letting his winnings ride, or to be parlaying them. In order for the player to win an accumulator, all of his selections must win their individual events. If a race event, results in a tie, or is postponed or canceled, the accumulator (parlay) is automatically reduced by one selection. That is, a triple parlay becomes a double parlay bet, a double parlay becomes a straight bet, and so on. Although the odds of winning a parlay are much less than a straight bet, the player will enjoy huge dividends on a win.

Pick Three Top

This wager requires the player to pick the winners of three consecutive races. Some racetracks have a rolling pick three, which is when the player must pick three races in a row and, if he wins, the bet continues for the next three races. Not all the tracks and races offer this type of wager. Customer has to be sure there is a payout for this bet. There are some special events which combine races in different tracks.

Pick Four Top

This wager requires the player to pick the winners of four consecutive races. Not all the tracks and races offer this type of wager. Customer has to be sure there is a payout for this bet. There are some special events which combine races in different tracks.

Superfecta Top

The straight Superfecta is played by picking the first four horses to finish in exact order. To bet, you say "$2 straight Superfecta 1-3-2-8". You would collect if the race finishes exactly 1-3-2-8. Customer can also box or key the Superfecta. Not all the tracks and races offer this type of wager. Customer has to be sure there is a payout for this bet.
